It looks like the battery capacity for the battery in my MacBook has increased over the last few weeks. It is now greater than when it was new. Is this a strange phenomenon of MacBook batteries, or is it a problem with Coconut Battery meter?
Update 1:
It was suggested that I try recalibrating the battery. The Apple web site has an article about how to do this and I followed the instructions given there. After discharging the battery I left it overnight and it then took about three hours to bring the battery back to a full charge, although the machine was in constant use during that period.
I now wonder whether a 107mAh drop in battery capacity over a two month period is normal.
Update 2:
Coconut Battery now reports that my battery's current charge and maximum charge are higher than the original battery capacity. I think I might need to arrange for a replacement battery.
Stranger and stranger, eh?
