Steve Irwin was killed by a big fish in a sad accident, yesterday 4 September. His death has obviously been taken quite hard in Australia, and the entrance to his zoo in Queensland has become a shrine.
I was suprised to see the impact that his death had on my own photo site, though. I uploaded a completely unrelated trio of photos this evening and found that the most popular searches have suddenly switched from a photo about the toothbrush being invented in Manchester to all about crocodiles and Australia Zoo.
